Let us introduce you to our School Age Class!
Grow With Us is a FUN place for older kids too! We offer convenient before and after school care, which includes breakfast in the AM and snack in the PM. The School Bus comes right to the front of our building for easy pick up and drop off. We also offer all day care for non-school days.
During the summer in our School-Age Room we will have children who currently attend school together with children entering Kindergarten in the fall. We will have a "meet up" time every day after breakfast to go over our tasks for the day. We are so excited for a summer filled with crafts, science, experiments, and field trips. Some of the field trips we have planned include The Historic Deglman Farm, Bowling, Movie Theater, Splash Park, Mille Lacs County Fair, Santa Lucia's Ice Cream Shoppe, Pizza Hut, Madre Loca, the Fire Station, and more!
We are planning lots of fun at Grow With Us too! The School Age Room has a small vegetable garden the children work on, student built obstacle courses, Cooperative Group Games, Outdoor Play, Reading, and Themed Weekly Activities.
Our staff maintains the proper 15 to 1 child to staff ratio. We attend regular inservice training to continually further our education, and keep our classroom records up to date. We keep our toys and room clean. Our environment is decorated with school-friendly decor that encourage learning. Monthly newsletters are sent home to keep parents informed.
